Student Ministries
Fairview at River Club's Student Ministry, or 180°, is a different kind of student culture; one which focuses on creating a counterculture of prayer, passion and purpose within students. 180° exists to provide a place for authentic relationships and a sense of community for those in grades 6 -12. The atmosphere is welcoming and the language is easy to understand. This is a safe place for students to ask tough questions and find answers.
What We Do
Here at 180º the Word of God is made practical; lives are transformed through games, peer and adult connections, overseas trips, events, retreats, and prayer. Essentially, this is a place to connect, we place a premium on making church more than just the ordinary.
How We Do It
We have a great group of adult leaders; they are put through a rigorous background check, application and interview process, and are continually resourced and challenged to grow spiritually. Why do we place such an emphasis on them? The answer is easy, because they are the core of what we do. These adults connect with the students before, during, and after each service; in addition, they are each given a group of same gender and same aged students to contact throughout the week with the purpose of pouring into their lives.
